World Vision International Zimbabwe is inviting tenders from reputable individuals/organizations
to submit bids to conduct consultancy for comprehensive value chain analysis of a project in
Tongogara Refugee Settlement

Qualifications and Experience
Study Objective
1. Conduct a comprehensive value chain analysis for the selected brick moulding, crop and
livestock enterprises.
2. Assess production systems (irrigation typologies, productivity levels, seasonality, and
input use).
3. Identify value chain actors, governance structures, power dynamics, and coordination
gaps.
4. Analyze market demand, price trends, and buyer requirements at local, regional, and
national levels.
5. Assess constraints and opportunities across all nodes of the value chain.
6. Identify viable upgrading strategies (horizontal, vertical, functional, and product
upgrading).
7. Recommend inclusive business and aggregation models suitable for refugee-led
enterprises.
8. Provide investment-ready recommendations aligned with UNHCR and WVZ livelihoods
objectives.
9. Emphasize the critical role of parastatals such as AMA, ZIMTRADE, PIB, ZINWA, GMB,
and ZESA in supporting the production and marketing value chain
