Junior Geologist (Minerals Exploration)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Geologist to join our
minerals exploration team. The successful candidate will have expertise in core
logging, lithology interpretation, geological database creation, ore modelling, and
resource estimation, with a preference for experience in gold exploration.
Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Core logging and geological data collection
- Lithology interpretation and geological modelling
- Creation and management of geological databases
- Ore modelling and resource estimation
- Collaboration with senior geologists and exploration teams
Qualifications and Experience
Requirements:
- Degree in Geology or related field
- Experience in minerals exploration, preferably gold exploration
- Strong skills in core logging, lithology interpretation, and geological modelling
- Proficiency in geological software and databases
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
