Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate should be able to teach at least three modules at Undergraduate and Postgraduate level in the following areas: Principles of Biochemistry, Functional Biochemistry, Nutritional Biochemistry, Feed Formulation and Manufacturing, Advanced Nutritional Biochemistry and Ruminant and Non-Ruminant Nutrition.
Supervise students' research projects in areas of competence.
Participate in income generation projects.
Participate in outreach activities in the agricultural sector.
Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications and Experience
Interested candidates must possess a PhD in Animal Science/Animal Nutrition with considerable teaching and research experience at tertiary level.
Applicants must have strong research mentoring skills and the ability to attract and manage research grants.
Preference will be given to applicants with a proven record of publications in refereed scientific journals.
