Introduction
We seek to recruit highly motivated, outstanding and results oriented individuals to fill the following positions.
Specification
1.Represent the organisation in legal matters under the supervision of the Legal Advisory Manager;
2.Conduct legal research, review progress of cases under litigation and liaise with external lawyers;
3.Interpret laws, rules and regulations and prepare legal opinions;
4.Provide appropriate legal advice to management and ensure regulatory compliance;
5.Draft, review and provide legal advice on MOUs, contracts, and tender documents;
6.Review ongoing legal matters and advise management accordingly;
7.Liaise with various departments and provide appropriate legal advice;
8.Provide guidance on contract matters to project managers or other operational staff;
9.Develop and implement procedures for contract management and administration in compliance with appropriate NetOne policies;
10.Interface with regulatory authorities and other relevant bodies on legal issues.
Requirements
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
•Bachelor of Laws Honours Degree (LLBS) from a reputable institution;
•3 - 5 years post qualification experience which includes legal drafting, contract review, litigation and statutory interpretation;
•Should be conversant in commercial, criminal and labour laws of Zimbabwe;
•Legal drafting skills;
•Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
•Ability to interpret and apply laws, rules and regulations relative to work situations;
•A business acumen partnered with a dedication to legality;
•Highly computer literate;
•Registered with the Law Society of Zimbabwe.
