Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated, vigilant, and experienced Loss Control Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safeguarding hospital assets, minimizing losses, ensuring compliance with security procedures, and promoting a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, visitors, and property.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate loss control and security operations within the hospital.
• Monitor compliance with hospital security policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend corrective measures.
• Investigate incidents involving theft, fraud, property damage, misconduct, and security breaches.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, investigations, and loss prevention activities.
• Coordinate the hospital's disaster preparedness and response activities to ensure the safety of patients, staff, visitors, and hospital assets.
• Oversee access control systems, CCTV monitoring, and security personnel deployment.
• Conduct staff awareness and training programs on loss prevention and security practices.
• Liaise with law enforcement agencies and other relevant stakeholders when necessary.
• Prepare periodic reports on security and loss control performance.

Qualifications and Experience

• Higher National Diploma or Degree in Security Management, Risk Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in loss control, security supervision, or risk management, preferably within a healthcare environment.
• Knowledge of security systems, investigations, and loss prevention strategies.
• Practical knowledge of fire, life and safety procedures.
• Strong analytical, report-writing, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Clean criminal record.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
