Job Description
Machine Operators
Duties and Responsibilities
Setting up machine to run jobs.
Documenting and writing up the work job card.
Assisting in packing of product.
Safely loading and unloading of logs and material rolls.
Troubleshooting and making adjustment to typical machine operating problems.
Doing housekeeping and wash up after running jobs to insure cleanliness of factory.
Performing basic preventative maintenance duties such as oiling, greasing changing of
blades etc.
Insuring that waste and rejects from running job is kept at a minimal.
Being the first line of quality assurance making sure the product is made to the exact
specifications.
Adhering to the safety regulations of the plant.
Assisting with moving of goods and receiving material to the factory.
Qualifications and Experience
Requirements
Packaging machine minding qualifications.
2 years of experience.
Ability to stand for long hours, bend,lift, repetitive wrist movement whilst on the job.
Must be able to lift 25kgs
Excellent communication skills
