MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR x1
National Foods prides itself in developing and growing its people! We are pleased to invite suitable applications for the position of Maintenance Supervisor in our Pasta Business Unit.
The Maintenance Supervisor will report to the Unit Manager and will be responsible for supervising maintenance operations to improve equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and support efficient and consistent production. This role will ensure preventive maintenance compliance and promote safe and effective plant operations.
As the Maintenance Supervisor your key responsibility areas are:
• Supervise day-to-day maintenance activities for pasta production equipment and machinery.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
• Lead and develop maintenance technicians, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and utility breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and statutory compliance documentation.
To qualify for this role, you will require the following credentials:
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering or equivalent.
• A trade qualification as a Millwright, or a qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of 3-5 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
• At least 3 years in a supervisory or team-leading role.
• Strong technical problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
