Job Description
Provides input for the setting of Group business sales and marketing objectives and the formulation and implementation of strategies and action plans to achieve those objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities
2.1 Generates and reviews the Group business sales and marketing budget.
2.2 Manages risk by ensuring that products and processes are compliant with policies, procedures and legislation.
2.3 Provides input in the development of Group business products in line with market trends.
2.4 Establishes and maintains an on-going business relationship with existing and prospective clients.
2.5 Leads in the recruitment, training, development and retention of staff with the appropriate skills and competence levels.
2.6 Generates board and management reports.
2.7 Manages brand awareness and delivery of the intended value proposition to clients and other stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum academic and professional qualification REQUIRED for this job
• A business degree e.g. Insurance and Risk Management
• MBA or a Master’s Degree in Marketing, Strategic Studies or Insurance and Risk Management
• Diploma in Insurance - Long Term
