1) MARKETING INTERN
JOB SUMMARY
A Marketing Intern assist the Marketing Officer who is an overseer of an organization's marketing campaigns and plays an important role in developing and executing communication concepts and marketing strategies for the company.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities
• Assist in conducting market research to identify opportunities for promotion and growth.
• Assist in implementation of marketing strategies.
• Assist in management and development of marketing campaigns.
• Assist in identifying, study and test market patterns and trends.
• Assist with product development and pricing strategies.
• Assist with organizing and attending marketing activities or events to raise brand awareness.
• Assist in reporting on trends and statistics across all digital media platforms.
• Assist in managing the department’s activities - preparation of budgets and monitoring expenses.
• Assist in creating and overseeing the distribution and publication of content or marketing materials.
Qualifications and Experience
Job requirements
• Basic knowledge of marketing techniques and principles; market research and statistical data analysis methods.
• Knowledge of MS Office and marketing software [CRM, Dynamics, Excel, etc]
• Basic knowledge in social media advertising.
• Basic knowledge of social media and web analytics.
• Team player with a customer-oriented approach and contagious creative energy.
• Basic communication and interpersonal skills.
Job Qualifications
• Working towards attaining a Degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Management or Business Development and any other related qualification
• Clean class 4 driver’s licence is an added advantage
• Basic Copywriting and graphic/digital design experience is an added advantage
