Pathways project is a child centred, family focused and community package intervention. The aim of the project is to use economic strengthening, local ownership and gender transformation to strengthen the capacity of HIV affected individuals households and communities to progress along Pathways out of poverty, along functional services referral Pathways, along continuum of care Pathways to reach the 90-90-90 targets, and along age and stage appropriate Pathways. The Pathways project also aims to promote positive child, adolescent and youth health, well-being and development. Duties and Responsibilities

Job Summary
The MEAL Assistant assists in managing information and reporting processes and products to ensure professional, high quality communication about Pathways project programmatic activities; Provides guidance in monitoring and reporting of Pathways HIV/AIDS activities (HIV Testing and Counselling, referral and linkage, HIV treatment, adherence, viral load monitoring etc.) undertaken by implementing partners of the program in collaboration with the Health Facilities; The Assistant will play an important role in improving information management and data quality & will work closely with the MEAL Officer for efficient and timely submission of reports from all project sites; She/He will ensure that an appropriate filing system of data and reports is maintained at the district office; The post will involve travelling to field sites to conduct on site data verifications.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications and experience
Bachelor degree (preferred) in Statistics, Health Promotion, Social Sciences or its equivalent; experience with a formal qualification of monitoring and evaluation; minimum of at least three (2) years of experience in design and implementation of monitoring, evaluation and research, advanced computer skills in Excel, Word processing, Database management, SPSS or other statistical packages; Familiarity with USAID regulations is desired; A class 3 motorcycle licence is a must.
