Job Description
National Cranes & Equipment is seeking a highly skilled and safety-focused Mobile Crane Operator to join our operations team. The successful candidate must be experienced in operating various types of mobile cranes (including all-terrain and truck-mounted) for lifting and rigging applications in construction, logistics, and industrial projects.
Duties and Responsibilities
Operate mobile cranes safely and efficiently in accordance with lifting plans.
Conduct pre-start checks and ensure the crane is in optimal working condition.
Work with rigging teams to perform precise lifting and placement of loads.
Maintain accurate records of operations and equipment condition.
Comply with safety standards, company procedures, and client site requirements.
Assist with crane setup, relocation, and basic maintenance when required.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum 3 years’ experience operating mobile cranes of various capacities.
Valid Mobile Crane Operator Certificate/Licence (endorsed for appropriate tonnage).
Knowledge of crane safety, load charts, and rigging principles.
Valid Class 2 driver’s licence (mandatory).
Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions under pressure.
High regard for health, safety, and environmental compliance.
