Job Description
Musasa is a women’s rights organization founded in 1988. The vision of the organization is to see a society in which women and girls are free from violence in all its manifestations and are able to fully participate in development at all levels.
The organisation hereby invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the position of SECURITY GUARD. The role is responsible for protecting Musasa premises, assets, and personnel by maintaining a high‑visibility presence and preventing any illegal or inappropriate actions. The Security Guard will be expected to detect, deter, observe, and report all security‑related incidents to ensure a safe and secure environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Protect company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment
• Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances
• Act lawfully in direct defense of life or property
• Apprehend criminals and evict violators
• Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences
• Report in detail any suspicious incidents
• Patrol randomly or regularly building and perimeter
• Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates
• Watch and operate detecting/emergency equipment
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor
• Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
• Surveillance skills and detail orientation
• Integrity and professionalism
Qualifications and Experience
• Proven work experience as a Security Guard or relevant position
• Trained security officer with a certificate / diploma
