We are looking for a National Field Services Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Director – Rural Development and Industrialisation, the successful applicant will, among other key duties, be responsible for:
• Leading the design and implementation of Village-Business Units (VBUs) and MCC programmes in collaboration with Provincial Rural Development Officers.
• Aligning programme initiatives with Government policies and the organisation’s strategic objectives.
• Developing and implementing operational plans, budgets, and performance targets for programmes.
• Overseeing the establishment and commissioning of Village-Business Units (VBUs).
• Ensuring timely operationalisation of infrastructure and project components.
• Monitoring production systems, value chains, and overall programme performance.
• Building and maintaining strategic partnerships with private sector players and development partners.
• Coordinating programme activities with Government institutions and local communities.
• Facilitating Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) and attracting investment into programmes.
• Preparing and presenting periodic programme and performance reports.
• Managing programme budgets and ensuring optimal utilisation of resources.
• Mobilising funding and financial support for programme sustainability and growth.
• Ensuring financial accountability and compliance with established financial procedures.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and organisational policies.
• Implementing governance frameworks and promoting best practices in programme management.
• Identifying, assessing, and managing risks associated with programme implementation.
• Designing and implementing capacity-building initiatives for beneficiaries and farmers.
• Promoting entrepreneurship and sustainable business practices within programme areas.
• Supporting youth and women participation in programme activities and development initiatives

• A Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Rural Development or equivalent qualification.
• A Master of Science degree is an added advantage.
• At least five (5) years of progressive experience in a similar environment, including a minimum of three (3) years in a senior managerial position.
• 5 Ordinary Levels including English Language and Mathematics.
• Knowledge of agricultural operations and procedures.
