Choppies Zimbabwe is looking for a competent National Operations Head with a proven track record to lead a large team of regional operations managers within the supermarket environment, reporting to the Group Managing Director. The successful incumbent will be accountable for the overall net profit targets of his jurisdiction and must manage all activities, systems and processes that influence the net profit line.

Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
• Overseeing the roll out of new stores across the country as well as optimising the performance of current stores
Contribute towards the preparation of an annual budget and to rally all subordinates to work within budget and other guidelines to deliver on the net profit and other financial and strategy commitments.
Ensure that clean business governance and unqualified audit results are ensured. Review revenue growth, productivity and overall efficiency improvement Prepare KPIs set for retail executives

Qualifications and Experience

Skills & Competencies
• Leadership, effective communication, negotiation and conflict management skills Decision-Making and effective team player
• Computer literacy

Qualifications & Experience
• A Degree or other appropriate retail management qualification.
• A minimum of 6 years supermarket operations or FMCG industry at senior level
