Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and reliable Nurse Aide to join our primary health care team. The Nurse Aide will provide essential support to nursing staff and assist in delivering high-quality patient care in a private clinic setting. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assists with patient care, including mobility, feeding, and personal hygiene.
• Takes and records vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration.
• Prepares patients for examinations and procedures.
• Assists nurses during clinical procedures and examinations.
• Ensures examination rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for use.
• Sterilizes and prepares medical instruments and equipment.
• Assists with basic wound care and dressing changes under supervision.
• Collects and label specimens for laboratory testing.
• Maintains accurate and confidential patient records.
• Schedules patient appointments and follow-ups.
• Manages inventory of medical supplies and report shortages.
• Assists with patient intake, including registration and data collection.
• Follows infection prevention and control protocols.
• Ensures compliance with clinic health and safety policies.
• Reports hazards, incidents, or equipment issues promptly.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of a Certificate in Nursing Assistance (or equivalent from a recognized institution).
• BLS / CPR certification (preferred).
• Previous experience in a clinic, hospital, or primary health care setting.
• Familiarity with basic medical equipment and terminology.
