Job Description
Unki Mines (Private) Limited, invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the following vacancies which have arisen in the Safety Health Environment and Quality (SHEQ) Department:-
PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The role is responsible for conducting occupational health risk assessments and the planning, design and implementation of the occupational hygiene programme, as well as the implementation of control measures to eliminate, or to reduce identified occupational health risks.
Duties and Responsibilities
MAJOR OUTPUTS:
• Occupational health risk assessments and occupational hygiene measurements.
• Conducting occupational hygiene inspections.
• Ensuring legal compliance.
• Occupational hygiene training, education and awareness.
• Implementing and maintaining ISO 45001, IS014001 and ISO 9001 standards.
Qualifications and Experience
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
• Degree/Diploma in Occupational Hygiene / Environmental Health or related natural sciences.
• Five (5) years' experience in a Mining environment or Heavy Industry.
• Clean Class 4 driver's license.
