Operations Supervisor

Job Description

Harare Municipal Funeral Services is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified, self-motivated, and results-oriented individual to join our team in the following position:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced individual to oversee funeral operations and ensure efficient, dignified, and professional service delivery in line with organisational standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily funeral operations to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
STAFF SUPERVISION
Oversee undertakers and support staff, ensuring adherence to procedures and professionalism.
SERVICE DELIVERY
Ensure all funeral services are conducted with dignity, respect, and in accordance with client expectations.
COMPLIANCE & STANDARDS
Maintain compliance with health, safety, and municipal regulations in all operations.

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum of 5 'O' Levels including English
• Acceptable qualification in Undertaking
• At least two (2) years' experience in the funeral industry as an Undertaker
Strong organisational and leadership skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
