An established company in the Transport Industry is seeking experienced candidates for the following positions in our workshop:
Panel Beater
Duties and Responsibilities
Key Accountabilities
• Assessing a truck’s damaged panels and components, either by cutting them away or unbolting them from the truck
• Replacing the damaged parts or repairing them, using mechanical, hydraulic, and metal working equipment
• Grinding, sanding, repainting, and polishing the vehicle after repair
• Repairing chips and scuffs, polishing and waxing, glass repairs, interior repairs, and wheel refinishing
• Ensuring compliance to industry specifications and safety standards
Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications and Competencies
• Trade Tested Class 1 Panel Beater
• An additional technical qualification will be an added advantage
• Manual dexterity, experience with hand tools, and physical strength
• 2-3 years’ experience as a Panel Beater
