Job Description

The following vacancy has arisen within Group Human Resources and applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the vacancy.

Duties and Responsibilities

Job Specification Reporting to the Human Resources Business Partner, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
• Capturing accurately all payroll input relating to employee monthly payments, additions, deductions and other variables.
• Checking compliance and adherence of the payroll input with the HR Policy and Labour Act.
• Preparing and submitting all monthly statutory, third-party payments and returns in line with deadlines.
• Conducting regular checks to ensure the integrity of the payroll database, updating data as necessary including legislative changes and ensuring that the payroll database is working properly.
• Processing all staff benefits including staff loans and termination benefits.
• Conducting all monthly and annual payroll system processes including rollovers and backups.
• Recommending to the Human Resources Business Partner the improvements of all payroll systems on a regular basis.

Qualifications and Experience

Person Specification
• Diploma in Human Resources or equivalent.
• Payroll Certificate.
• 1 year experience in a similar role.
• Must have experience working on Microsoft Office and SAGE 300 People
• Must be able to handle large payroll volumes.
• High energy with the ability to handle multiple levels of authority and staff.
