Job Description
We seek a Pharmacy Technician who supports the hospital pharmacist in ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient dispensing of medications
Duties and Responsibilities
Assist with medication preparation and dispensing under the supervision of the pharmacist.
Manage pharmacy inventory, including receiving, storing, and monitoring stock levels and expiry dates.
Maintain accurate pharmacy records and assist with documentation for prescriptions and controlled drugs.
Support the pharmacist and clinical staff by preparing medications and ensuring timely supply to wards and departments.
Ensure pharmacy organization and compliance with hospital procedures and pharmaceutical regulations.
Qualifications and Experience
Diploma or certificate in Pharmacy Technology or Pharmacy Technician training from a recognized institution.
Minimum of three (3) years’ experience working as a Pharmacy Technician, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting.
Knowledge of pharmaceutical inventory management and dispensing procedures.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling medications and records.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment while maintaining high professional standards.
