Summary
A group of private medical institutions is looking for an experienced and qualified candidate to fill in the vacancy of physiotherapist. The successful candidate will start work immediately.

• Assess and provide treatment to reduce pain, increase mobility, and limit secondary functional disability by providing effective and evaluated individualized programs of care
• Helping people to recover from trauma and incidents that made them incapable of doing anything with even the slightest of physical force
• Evaluation of the patients’ health based on their recent physical activities
• Rehabilitation of patients with minor to severe injuries which occurred during a certain period of time
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive treatment notes by keeping a clinical record of treatment interventions.
• Participate in ward rounds to communicate treatment plans and support the medical team in providing holistic patient-centered care.
• Provides support to the medical multidisciplinary team by providing a physiotherapy-based assessment of the patient’s physical conditions.
• Conduct reports and analysis of the patients’ health based on their present health condition
• Recommendation of new equipment to resume physical activities for health recovery
• Organizing and conducting physiotherapy outreach services and encourage people to engage in doing exercises both of mind, body and spirit to keep them healthy and fine.
• Ensuring that equipment is secure, functional and are well maintained
• Compiling and submitting relevant periodic reports as may be required
• Adhering to professional Code of conduct at all times in the execution of his/her duties
• Preforming any other duties that may be assigned by accredited supervisors
Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications
Degree in Physiotherapy or any other relevant qualifications
Registered with the Medical Rehabilitation Professions Council of Zimbabwe
Current practising certificate
Experience
At least 2 years’ experience working in a private hospital or rehabilitation facility.
