Duties and Responsibilities
Job role
Administer, maintain, and continuously improve the On Key Plus CMMS to ensure data integrity, system effectiveness, and compliance.
Create, update, and maintain asset hierarchies, equipment registers, functional locations, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) within On Key Plus.
Develop, manage, and optimize preventive, predictive, condition-based, and statutory maintenance plans in the CMMS.
Generate, schedule, release, and monitor work orders in accordance with approved maintenance planning procedures.
Liaise with Foremen, Supervisors, and Operations personnel to allocate and execute scheduled maintenance activities.
Ensure all work orders are accurately captured, updated, completed, and closed within the CMMS.
Perform routine audits and quality checks on maintenance data, resolving incomplete, inaccurate, or overdue transactions.
Coordinate maintenance planning meetings and develop maintenance execution plans aligned with production requirements.
Identify opportunity maintenance and planned maintenance windows and communicate these to relevant stakeholders.
Develop weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual maintenance schedules based on equipment utilization, operating conditions, production targets, and equipment strategies.
Initiate material reservations, requisitions, and procurement requests to support planned maintenance activities.
Monitor spare parts availability and inventory levels and recommend improvements to support maintenance schedules.
Generate, analyse, and distribute maintenance reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders.
Analyse maintenance and equipment performance data to identify trends, recurring failures, risks, and opportunities for reliability improvement.
Coordinate condition monitoring programmes and ensure inspections, routes, and corrective actions are completed and recorded.
Support maintenance audits, statutory inspections, and engineering compliance reviews by maintaining accurate maintenance records.
Train, coach, and assess users on On Key Plus CMMS functionality, maintenance processes, and data capture standards.
