The City of Gweru invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the following vacant positions.
Plumber x 2
Department: Spatial Planning and Development
Reporting To: The Chief Foreman
Job Purpose:
To install, maintain, repair and service Council's water supply, drainage and sanitary plumbing systems and infrastructure, ensuring efficient, reliable and safe provision of plumbing services across Council facilities.
Qualifications and Experience:
Qualified Class 1 Artisan, who must have served a four-year apprenticeship in Plumbing or Trade-Tested Artisan Class 1.
A National Certificate in Plumbing or an equivalent recognised qualification is an added advantage.
At least two years' relevant practical experience in plumbing works.
Knowledge of water and sanitary installations.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A valid clean Class 4 driver's licence will be an added advantage.
