Job Description
Working in a commercial printing setting.
Working as a print finisher, finishing all prints to a high quality.
Using a guillotine to finish prints.
Setting the guillotine to cut and finish prints to the correct specifications.
Using machines to fold prints and some elements of folding by hand.
Using a large format print machine
Dealing with bespoke customer orders and following tight deadlines.
Completing paper work, making sure each stage of production has been met.
General housekeeping duties carried out, making sure own area is kept clean and tidy.
Strict daily targets and deadlines, which are monitored by team leader.
Duties and Responsibilities
Candidate should have experience of working in a fast-paced printing environment.
A positive attitude and are willing to learn more skills on the job.
Confidence on the job and are happy to take on more responsibility if necessary.
Focused on quality and excellence of end product.
Motivated to meet targets and deadlines.
Working either independently or within a team.
Be able to help and pass on experiences to help improvements within the company.
Be energetic and enthusiastic, proactively offering proposals.
Achieve team objectives.
Be consistent, accurate and ensure that procedures are followed.
Qualifications and Experience
At least 3 years experience in this relevant field.
