Processing Manager
Zulu Lithium Pvt Ltd is looking for a very well experienced Processing Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Implement effective lithium processing strategies aligned with the organization’s strategic initiatives, providing clear direction and focus.
* Develop metallurgical engineering systems and processes to track and optimize productivity, standards and performance targets.
* Coordinate and lead operational process monitoring and improvements guided by best practice hydro-metallurgical lithium processing systems.
* Design and maintain metallurgical systems and procedures enabling daily, weekly and monthly metallurgical accounting reports and reconciliations.
* Analyse and interpret processing statistical data for reporting and decision-making.
* Liaise with Mining and Geology departments to achieve optimum throughput and recovery.
* Continuously monitor and optimize process control parameters to maximize productivity and metallurgical recoveries.
* Develop, enforce and maintain effective processing plant operations cost budgets and cost control systems.
* Provide technical oversight of Tailings Storage Facility (TSF) operations, including site investigations, monitoring activities, water balance and safe deposition in compliance with SOPs.
* Ensure adherence to health and safety and sustainability policies and legislation.
* Network and stay up to date with the latest lithium production management best practices and concepts.
Qualifications and Experience
* Experience: At least 10 years’ experience, with 3 years at managerial level.
* Qualification: BSc (Hons) Degree in Metallurgical Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
* Knowledge of ISO standards:
* ISO 9001:2018
* ISO 14001:2018
* ISO 45001:2018
* Skills in budgeting and cost control.
* Ability to manage spatial complexity across functions and diverse workloads.
