Job Description

Answering to the Administration, the occupant assumes the liability for the acquirement and coordinating the executives elements of the Organization. The Procurement Officer's obligations incorporate managing staff, keeping up with positive provider relations, assessing supply alternatives, approving purchases, and keeping up with exact records.

Duties and Responsibilities

The functions of A PROCUREMENT OFFICER of the Company include;
1. Estimating and establishing cost parameters and budgets for purchases.
2. Creating and maintaining good relationships with vendors/suppliers. Negotiating contract terms and pricing. It also includes review
and analysis of all suppliers.
3. Maintaining and updating records of purchases, pricing, suppliers and other important documents related to procurement.
4. Developing plans for procurement of equipment, services and supplies.
5. Purchasing goods, materials, services and supplies inline with specified cost quality and delivery targets.
6. Monitoring stock levels and place orders as required
7. Preparing reports on purchases

Qualifications and Experience

 Possess a degree or diploma in Purchasing and Supply or Any Equivalent
 Have strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and good presentation skills.
 Possess solid interpersonal skills with ability to relate at all levels.
 Should be willing to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
