Location: Mzimuni Area Program
Purpose of Position
The student intern will be responsible for supporting the Mzimuni Education team in the timely and quality implementation of the program activities within the area program in general and the monitoring of activities in particular.
Major responsibilities
• Assist the Field Facilitator in capacity building of communities and local partners in AP planning and annual community review and planning.
• Assist the Field Facilitator in planning AP activities at the assigned communities.
• Attend community meetings for the smooth implementation of AP activities.
• Compile minutes of AP meetings.
• Keep up to date files.
• Assist in programming procurements and acquisition of invoices.
• Assist in program report writing.
• Facilitate community awareness campaigns and meetings.
• Capture quality program photos and document stories of transformation.
• Capturing detailed minutes during community development meetings.
Qualifications, Experience and skills required
• Studying for a Degree in Development Studies or any other social science program.
• Team player.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, willing to learn and be led by Supervisors.
• Good Interpersonal skills.
