Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Receipting Clerk to join our finance team.

Duties and Responsibilities

Receiving of cash from sales person during cashing up time (Daily cashing up)
• Daily cash flow maintenance
• Branches cashing up
• Cash reports
• Checking Mails
• Accountable for finance risk management in line with organizational and departmental goals
• Capturing and posting all incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Any other duties assigned by your superior
• Managed daily cash transactions, ensured accuracy and efficiency in processing customer payments.
• Provided excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolved issues in a professional and courteous manner.
• Maintained a high level of accuracy in handling cash and other forms of payment.
• Demonstrated strong numerical skills, accurately handling cash handling and counting.
• Worked effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritized tasks and managed multiple customers
simultaneously.

Qualifications and Experience

Diploma in Accounting or any related field
Proven experience in a similar role
Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
Proficiency in accounting softwares and MS Excel.
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
