About the Role We are seeking three compassionate and skilled Rehabilitation Technicians to join our team. You will play a vital role in enhancing the independence and quality of life for people living with disabilities by developing and implementing comprehensive physical and functional therapy plans.
Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement individual rehabilitation plans tailored to each student's specific needs.
• Conduct individual and group sessions focusing on Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), functional mobility, strength, coordination, and cognitive/perceptual remediation.
• Train students in the proper use of mobility aids as prescribed for their specific conditions.
• Provide physical treatments and functional maintenance to support student development.
• Conduct education sessions for parents and caregivers and support the creation of effective home-based treatment plans.
Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications and Experience
• Diploma or Degree in Medical Rehabilitation or equivalent qualifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proven experience in Clinical and Community-Based Rehabilitation (CBR).
• Strong analytical and communication skills. Experience working specifically with persons with disabilities is highly preferred.
