This is a temporary relief assignment to work in a department responsible for recruitment and activism from 1 May 2026 to 31 December 2026.

The role calls for integrity, with a strong respect for safeguarding and a deep commitment to independence, impartiality, and accuracy.
a) Budget development, monitoring and expenditure tracking
b) Supports all department fundraising initiatives
c) Supports the development and implementation of strategy for the Section’s membership unit.
d) Supports the planning, overseeing and implementation of all youth initiatives ranging from trainings, dialogues, symposia and workshops.
e) Leads in the setting up of clubs that promote human rights education targeting different age groups
f) Maps like -minded organisations and forges strategic partnerships .
g) Compiles reports for tracking membership growth and activism.
h) Works with the Membership and Growth Officer in planning and organizing induction and capacity building initiatives for members and activists.
i) Supports the mobilisation of members, activists, and supporters to participate in Section's campaigns.
j) Maintains membership and activist’s database
k) Supports Membership and Growth Officer in communicating with supporters, followers and activists
l) Supports Membership and Growth Officer in ensuring membership subscription payments
m) Supports the Membership and Growth Officer and Executive Director in preparing members AGM.
Minimum hiring qualifications
• A Degree in the field of Social Sciences or related field.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and writing.
• Knowledge on methodologies and strategies to keep activists engaged and interested in human rights issues.
• Basic financial management skills
• Demonstratable work experience in civil society human rights programming.
• Experience in organising events with minimum supervision
• Presentation, training and facilitation skills
• Ability to build and sustain professional relationship.
• Multilingual candidates are at an advantage
