Job Description

JOB ROLE
Under the supervision of the Project Coordinator and within a multidisciplinary research setting, the incumbent will support research efforts in the Syndromic Management project. Responsibilities will include observing clinical records and conducting interviews with clinical staff at various levels. The incumbent will also perform other duties related to the project, such as facilitating discussions and analysing the collected data. Incumbent will be responsible for the following tasks:

Duties and Responsibilities

Systematically perform observations of patients’ clinical records (electronic and physical)
Entering high quality data into the appropriate database.
Ensure quality record keeping.
Conduct in-depth interviews.
Reviewing and analysing data during the project.
Any other duties as assigned by the Project Coordinator

Qualifications and Experience

At least a Diploma in Nursing. A Bachelor's degree in Nursing will be an added advantage.
A minimum of 3 years of clinical research experience.
Valid practising certificate.
Experience in qualitative research.
A Good Clinical Practice (GCP) certificate and research ethics training are desirable.
The incumbent should be fluent in IsiNdebele and Chi Shona .
The role involves multiple site visits, and the candidate should be prepared to conduct them.
Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment.
Strong interpersonal skills, with effective verbal and written communication abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Strong interpersonal communication skills and a high respect for confidentiality.
