Job Description
This role is in the Engineer department at Band 6 and reports to the Section Engineer
Duties and Responsibilities
Job Description:
• Responsible for effective deliveries of all resources identified in the various plans for various task packages. OTIF (On Time In Full) target of 100% for all Scheduled Work
• Determine promised supply dates and validating that supply dates will meet the Required Dates for Tasks
• Collate materials and tools for each work package and Task
• Tracking of all deliveries according to Task Package
• Escalating each item where a supply date will not meet the scheduled start time.
• Ensure compliance with all legal, environmental, occupational health and safety and risk management standards and best practices
Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications:
• 5 O’Levels
• Tertiary qualification in Logistics/ Materials Management
• Technical qualification is an added advantage
Experience:
• 3 years Supply Chain Experience in Mining/Process Industry
Planning, Scheduling or materials management Experience
