Job Description
We seek to recruit the following qualified and experienced Security Sergeant based in Shamva.
About the Job
We are looking for an experienced Security Sergeant to join our Security team based in Shamva. This position reports to the Security Officer.
Duties and Responsibilities
Roles & Responsibilities
• Supervising all security details to ensure effective monitoring, detection, prevention and reporting theft or pilferage including the ingress of illegal gold panners
• Conducting pre-shift parade inspections and facilitating deployment of all security personnel
• Effective involvement in security missions, operations, assignments and investigations.
• Conduct deployment at the beginning of every shift and ensure that all posts are covered no later than 30minutes into the shift.
• Conducting mid-shift patrols and spot-checks, assessing the alertness and fitness of all guards during the assigned shift.
• Carry out all duties in compliance with and in support SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) standards within work areas always.
Qualifications and Experience
About You
• Certificate in Security/ Risk Management, Loss Control or equivalent.
• 5 “O” Level Passes
• Proficiency in firearms handling
• A minimum of 5 years; experience in the uniformed forces.
