Job Description
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced individuals to fill the above vacancy that has arisen in the Fabrication Department. The successful applicants will report to the Fabrication Chargehand.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Assist in construction, refurbishment and maintenance of haul bins and tipper bins
• To assist in harvester infield and workshop repairs
• Assist in construction of water tanks and a new Billet Plant system for Agric and Trailer
• To assist in fabrication of a new fertigation trailer system for MS pivots
• Repairs and maintenance of procurement trailers
• Fabrication of new bin floors for three-ton trucks and a recovery truck
• Repairs and rebuilds of yellow machine buckets (Excavators and loaders)
• Hard-facing of all wearable parts of harvesters
• Perform any other related duties as assigned
Qualifications and Experience
• Class 2/3 trade tested or certificate in Fabrication Engineering is an added advantage
• At least 1 year working experience
• Ability to read and interpret user manuals and drawings correctly
• Ability to work with minimum or no supervision
• A team player
