Job Description
Exciting and new positions within a local leading Insurance Group, interested and seasoned professionals who fit the criteria are encouraged to apply
Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Underwriting Manager Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Assist claims and credit control department with internal processes inclusive but not limited to queries relating to policy cover, premium debit discrepancies
2. Source new business, prepare and issue quotes so as to grow the company premium base
3. Policy creation and issue in accordance to specifications and/ or effecting amendments according to client needs
4. Reinsurance placements and acceptance to minimise company exposure to underwritten risks.
5. Client retention and customer relationship management inclusive of assisting clients as and when needed
6. Supervision and training of junior staff.
7. Any other relevant duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal position holder should possess the following
competencies, skills B experience:
• A Degree in Risk Management & Insurance
• A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar position
