Duties and Responsibilities

Candidates should have experience and confidence operating a sewing machine / overlocking machine proficiently.
Experienced in sewing high quality shirts and making a complete garment
Extremely accurate sewing skills
Excellent attention to detai
Previous experience working with industrial sewing machines
Able to understand and read patterns and specs
Good understanding of written and spoken English
You should also have the following skills/requirements

great eye for detail
team player
willing to work shifts

Qualifications and Experience

At least a Certificate in clothing and textiles or related field discipline.
At least 1 year factory sewing experience preferably using a synchronized binder and walking foot machine.
Effective and efficient sewing of product, being able to achieve target output.
Safety aware, ensures Health Safety and Environment procedures are adhered to.
A focus on quality and minimizing waste.
Able to perform minor machine adjustments for fault finding or better line performance.
Maintain machine cleaning standards.
Ability to change cottons and thread sewing equipment correctly and at pace.
Multi Skilled and open to training.
Ensure machine checks are completed
