VACANCY NOTICE: SHEQ OFFICER
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the position which has arisen within the Organisation.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Implement, maintain and continually improve the ISO 45001:2018 OHSMS in the organisation;
• Schedule and ensure the conduction of internal audits, legal audits and Management Review Meetings;
• Ensure timely closure of all audit findings, effective implementation of determined corrective action
as well as testing of effectiveness of implemented actions;
• Investigate all incidents and accidents and ensure implementation of corrective action;
• Ensure the Organisation is compliant with all applicable legal and other requirements;
• Schedule and conduct SHEQ trainings and toolbox talk to the Operations staff.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications and Experience
• Must be a holder of a Degree/Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science,
Engineering or any related field.
• Must possess 5 'O' levels including Mathematics and English in one sitting.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Proven experience in SHEQ systems development, implementation and maintenance as well as conducting internal and external audits.
• A valid and clean driver’s licence is mandatory with proven driving experience.
• Professional certifications in SHEQ (e.g. NEBOSH, OSHEMAC, ISO 45001, 9001 and 14001) as well as
fuel industry knowledge are an added advantage.
