Job Description
A group of schools based in Harare is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Skilled Worker Motor Mechanic to ensure the prompt repair, maintenance, and servicing of company vehicles.
Duties and Responsibilities
Perform service, basic care and maintenance on vehicles in the business fleet
Identifying vehicle mechanical problems, test parts and systems to ensure that they are working properly before and after repairs and maintenance
Conducts vehicle inspections on a monthly and adhoc basis.
Maintains accurate, updated records of vehicle service, repairs and maintenance.
Qualifications and Experience
Qualified Journeyman (Motor Mechanics) Class 1.
Clean Class 1- 4 Drivers Licence and valid Defensive Driving Certificate
Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar position.
Must be familiar with the bus engine and hybrid vehicles.
