Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the following posts within Rural Electrification Fund. Applicants should submit an application letter accompanied by a detailed Curriculum Vitae and certified academic and professional certificates.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Initiates and follow up ordering stock material from suppliers.
• Monitors the movement of material in store based on material requirement plan.
• Receives material from suppliers and check conformity with orders.
• Supervises placing of new stock on stock rack according to bin numbers and maintain good housekeeping.
• Ensures that all materials received, issued and remaining in stock is properly accounted for.
• Carries out stock check programme and explain differences between the physical stock with book stock and advises the Stores Officer.
• Checks and verifies Stores Transaction Forms to ensure that they have been approved by authorized personnel and the essential details to facilitate proper accounting is available.
Qualification and Experience
• Diploma in Stores Management or Equivalent
• 2 years relevant experience
• Clean class 4 driver's licence.
• SAP experience is an added advantage.
• Curporat6 membership of a professional institution.
