Applications are invited from suitably qualified individuals to fill the above vacancy that has arisen in the Land Development Department,
Duties and Responsibilities
• Consolidating and producing topographical maps
• Liaising and providing services to other departments on mapping out specific areas, drone operation survey requirements
• Coordinating and supervising any survey operations required outside Chisumbanje estate
• Coordinating the training of Graduate trainees and newly engaged Semi-skilled surveyors in the department
• Supervising the maintenance and servicing of all survey equipment
• Conducting site calibrations and providing backup services
Qualifications and Experience
• Degree in Surveying and Geomatics
• Minimum of 2 years post qualifying
• Knowledge in GPS, Laser and other basic survey instruments
• Proficiency in design softwares e.g AutoCAD, opt Surface and model maker
• Computer literacy in MS Office
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Clean class 4 driver’s license
