Job Description
Zimbabwe Ezekiel Guti University (ZEGU) is inviting suitably qualified Law Firms to apply for the provision of legal services.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provision of Legal services to Zimbabwe Ezekiel Guti University on a monthly retainer fee.
Eligibility Criteria
The Lawyers must be well-versed in Zimbabwean laws and regulations that pertain to education, labour, contracts, and compliance. This ensures that the University’s legal operations are in line with local legal requirements.
The Lawyers must be registered and in good standing with the Law Society of Zimbabwe, adhere to its ethical standards, and comply with the regulations governing legal practice in the country at all times.
The Lawyers should not have personal, financial, or professional interests that could conflict with their duties to the University.
The Lawyers must be free from any competing professional obligations or relationships that could compromise their impartiality when representing the University.
Qualifications and Experience
Legal Practitioners from eligible Law firms who would be primarily responsible for providing services to the University must have the following qualifications:
Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Degree from a reputable University.
Master of Laws (LLM) or equivalent advanced legal qualification.
Registered to practice as a Legal Practitioner in Zimbabwe with valid certification from the Law Society of Zimbabwe to practice law.
Legal Practitioners from eligible Law firms who would be primarily responsible for providing services to the University should have the following experience:
At least five (5) years of practice experience.
Proven experience with legal issues relevant to higher education, labour, contracts, and regulatory compliance.

Law Firm Profile and relevant CVs with details of the physical address, contact person, clear contact details with email addresses and proposed retainer fee.
Valid Practicing Certificates and other relevant supporting legal documents
Certified copies of qualifications of eligible candidates
At least two (2) References from previous clients (institutions NOT individuals)
All interested Law Firms should pay a non-refundable application fee of USD $40.00 payable as per the following Bank Account details:
