Applications are invited from interested and suitably qualified persons to fill in the following vacancy that have arisen within the Croco Holdings Group:
Duties and Responsibilities
1. To design and make press tools, jigs and dies
2. To repair worn out tools jigs and dies
3. To machine spare punches and dies
4. To monitor the heat treatment of punches and dies
5. To check for the Rockwell hardness of punches and dies
6. To access and redesign press tools to increased production and quality
7. To train Apprentices and semi-skilled personnel
Qualifications and Experience
Work Experience
• 5 years work experience.
• Specialised in press tooling
• Vast knowledge of designing and making the following tools, cropping, forming, bending, progression and notching tools.
• Vast knowledge in working with the following machines; lathes, milling, • Profile shaper, CNC, drilling, spark eroder and surface grinding machines.
• Vast knowledge of Heat treating Tool steel.
Person Specification
• 5 Ordinary levels.
• National certificate in machine shop craft practice.
• National diploma certificate an added advantage.
