Ultrabank Management Services Is Looking For A Transport Manager
Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring logistics operations and liaising with warehousing, branches and customers for shipment of products.
Works closely with the warehouse and branch teams and other key stakeholders to ensure that all logistics solutions are fully integrated and designed to improve customer service.
Monitors and coordinates direct customer deliveries
Coordinates intercity deliveries of stock from Central warehouse in liaison with Branches and the Customers.
Develop and implement a proactive, planned and structured approach to the maintenance of fleet vehicles and forklifts keeping within the designated budget and ensuring all vehicles used are fit for purpose and the customer experience is of a high standard.
Prepares the logistics and allocates resources to ensure efficiency
Managing the customer delivery lead times
Driver coordination and trip reconciliations
Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications and Experience
A degree in Logistics and Supply chain Management or its equivalence
A Master’s Degree is an added advantage
At least 5 years’ post qualification experience in a similar role
