Job Description

To drive the strategic implementation of Treasury Back Office operations

Duties and Responsibilities

• Formulation of strategies to execute day to day processes which are timely and efficient
• Management and optimization of best practice processes
• Complying to enacted regulations at all times
• Detecting counterfeit notes
• Accurate archiving customer data and documents
• Ensuring transactions by dealers match confirmation from counterparties
• Accurate capturing of investment portfolio and maintaining investment register
• Maintenance of tracking journals
• Monitoring compliance of dealer limits and authorisation of deals
• Monitoring and reconciling retail banking suspense accounts
• Addressing audit issues and business risk management
• Training and evaluating staff

Qualifications and Experience

• B.COM Banking and Finance, MBA, IOBZ or equivalent qualification
• Holding a Masters Degree will be an added advantage
• Five years working in an Operations and Treasury environment at a senior level
• MS Office Proficiency
• Excellent communication skills
