Job Description

A medical insurance organization is seeking to fill the vacancy of Accounts Clerk that has arisen within its ranks

Duties and Responsibilities

• Collect and sort invoices
• Keep a thorough record of business transactions
• Prepare invoices, vouchers, accounting statements, and other reports and records
• Process invoices/bills so that they can be paid
• Contact consumers to notify them of delinquent accounts and accept any payments
• Preparation of trial balance and balance sheet reconciliations
• Preparation of Bank and Creditors’ reconciliations

Qualifications and Experience

• Higher National Diploma in Accountancy OR Part C CIS OR equivalent
• Degree in Accountancy will be an added advantage
• Post qualification experience in accounting with exposure in payments processing, preparation of management accounts and bank reconciliations.
• Good analytical, presentation and communication skills
