Mother Touch Group of Schools is offering Farm Internship opportunities at our Harare campus for students currently enrolled in agriculture colleges or universities. This attachment program provides practical, hands-on experience in crop production, livestock management, and sustainable farming practices. Interns will gain valuable exposure to real-world agricultural operations while contributing to the school’s farm projects.
- Assist with crop production activities, planting, weeding, irrigation, and harvesting.
- Support livestock management, feeding, cleaning, and monitoring animal health.
- Participate in farm record-keeping (inputs, outputs, yields, and stock).
- Learn and apply sustainable farming techniques relevant to Zimbabwe’s context.
- Work under supervision to implement farm projects and meet production targets.
- Uphold safety, discipline, and cleanliness standards on the farm.
- Currently studying towards a Diploma or Degree in Agriculture (general agriculture, crop science, animal science, agriculture engineering or related fields).
- Strong interest in farming and agribusiness.
- Willingness to work outdoors and perform manual tasks.
- Good teamwork, discipline, and communication skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and follow instructions.
