Job Description

A leading company in construction, real estate, retail, and manufacturing is hiring for the following position:

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Duties and Responsibilities

The incumbent will have the following key responsibilities;
• Generate and pursue new business leads in construction, real estate development, and property management markets
• Build and nurture long-term relationships with developers, contractors, investors, property owners, and other stakeholders
• Develop and present compelling proposals, bids, and presentations to prospective clients
• Negotiate contracts and agreements aligned with company goals and client expectations
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project handover and client satisfaction
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and client needs to inform strategic planning
• Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand presence
• Develop and implement negotiation strategies to meet leasing targets
• Conduct on-site evaluations of partner brands’ performance
• Assess rental proposals and monitor market trends through competitor analysis.
• Manage fit-out plans and coordinate move-in schedules.
• Gather and act on tenant feedback
• Draft and review lease contracts and related documents.
• Track tenant retention and sublease activities
• Coordinate with engineering teams to meet project milestones
• Collaborate on joint promotions and organize community events to increase foot traffic

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred
• Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role (minimum 5 years)
• Solid understanding of market trends and customer needs
• Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
