Duties and Responsibilities
Specification
•Accepts cash, cheques, vouchers or automatic debits or bankcards for payment of fees or cost of goods and services received according to established procedures;
•Reviews orders or fee schedules to calculate total price and account for funds received against issued receipts;
•Posts transactions onto approved accounting systems;
•Prepares computerized summary reports of tendered amounts, quotations and invoiced transactions;
•Receives and fills in telephone orders and prepares quotations and invoices according to established procedures;
•Resolves customer queries concerning their bills, payments and purchases
•Participates in balancing, banking and stock taking exercises in liaison with the Shop Supervisor.
Qualifications and Experience
Requirements
•Degree in Accounting, Business Studies, Banking & Finance;
•Diploma in Accounting, CIS Part D, ACCA, IAC or equivalent;
•One to three years relevant working experience is an added advantage;
•5 O’ levels including English Language and Mathematics.
