Job Description
Buy Zimbabwe is seeking to recruit a dynamic, innovative, and results-oriented Commercial Manager to drive business growth, strengthen stakeholder relationships, and enhance the organization's commercial performance.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Develop and implement sales, marketing, and business development strategies to achieve organizational objectives.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams.
• Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with members, sponsors, government agencies, and other key stakeholders.
• Lead and motivate commercial teams to achieve sales and revenue targets.
• Monitor market trends, economic developments, and business opportunities within Zimbabwe and the region.
• Develop and manage commercial budgets, forecasts, and performance reports.
• Negotiate and manage commercial agreements and partnerships.
• Represent Buy Zimbabwe at business forums, exhibitions, conferences, and stakeholder engagements.
Qualifications and Experience
• Degree in Marketing, Business Management, Commerce, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years' experience in sales, marketing, business development, or commercial management.
• Proven track record in achieving sales and revenue growth targets.
• Strong understanding of Zimbabwe's business and economic environment.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and negotiation abilities.
• Membership of a relevant professional body will be an added advantage.
