JOB ADVERT: COUNTERSALES REPRESENTATIVE – AUTOMOTIVE BATTERIES & MOTOR SPARES
Location: Harare,Gweru, Kwekwe
Industry: Automotive Battery & Motor Spares Retail
Employment Type: Contract
We are a well-established automotive battery and motor spares retailer seeking a results-driven Counter-sales Representative with solid motor spares knowledge to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
Attend to walk-in customers and provide professional sales assistance
Advise customers on suitable automotive batteries, motor spares, and accessories
Accurately identify vehicle parts using make, model, and specifications
Prepare quotations, process sales invoices, and handle cash/card transactions
Achieve set sales targets and performance objectives
Maintain good housekeeping and proper product displays
Handle customer queries, complaints, and returns professionally
Assist with stock control, stock counts, and receiving deliveries
Duties and Responsibilities
Minimum Requirements
At least 1–2 years’ experience in counter-sales within an automotive spares or battery environment
Sound knowledge of motor spares (batteries, filters, oils, etc) Strong customer service and communication skills
Aged between 23 and 30 years
Basic computer literacy
Honest, reliable, and target-driven
Added Advantage
Experience in a battery retail or fitment centre
Mechanical or automotive background
Sales or customer service training
Qualifications and Experience
